I visited Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdee Prakas at Wat Thang Sai during a trip to Ban Krut. The drive up Thong Chai Mountain was quiet and scenic, and when I reached the top, the view of the Gulf of Thailand immediately stood out. The sea, the breeze, and the height of the hill created a very calm atmosphere.
The chedi itself was impressive but not overwhelming. Its design felt traditional and respectful, and walking around it gave me time to slow down and reflect. Inside, the space was peaceful, with areas for prayer and meditation. Visitors spoke softly, and many locals came to make merit.
What I remember most was the sense of stillness. Even with other visitors around, the place felt serene and meaningful. My visit to Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdee Prakas was not just about sightseeing, but about experiencing a moment of quiet and spiritual reflection.
